WHO ARE WE?
Buddy Film Foundation operates as a starting point for refugee filmmakers, film crew, actors and creatives. We organise workshops, network events and coach our new colleagues with the ultimate goal being; landing paid jobs. We guide these professional filmmakers from development to execution and funding of their own film projects. We strive to be the link between the newcomers in this domain and the national and international film and tv-industry.
OUR BELIEFS
We believe that by helping our members slip directly into paid jobs in their domain of interest, is the best way to assimilate and have a meaningful journey into full integration. Work offers a person stability, income, social contacts, development and a certain social status. Especially when you find work in the field you actually want to work in; it gives an extra motivation, it creates positive energy and we get to hear and see the stories that only they can tell. It really is a win-win. Talent is everywhere.

Are you a professional of the film industry with a refugee background and would like to join our foundation?
By enrolling in our database, you’ll always stay informed and receive email notifications when suitable job opportunities arise. We are looking for directors, producers, makeup artists, etc.
We frequently host screening nights, speed networking events, and other occasions that can assist you in expanding both your social and professional circle. Registration is completely free, and no contractual commitment is required.

Dennis Overeem and producer In-Soo Radstake.
